OGT's for the High School
The OGT tests for high school sophomores and any
juniors or seniors needing to re-take sections of the test are scheduled
for March 15-19, with make-ups on March 22-26. Students should
remember to eat a good breakfast on those days and get plenty of rest so
that they can do their best!
Just a Reminder
Dismissal for elementary students is at 2:20pm and for
middle school students at 3:05. If your student is here past
3:15pm, he or she will have to go to Aftercare to be supervised.
For the safety of your child, parents or a person designated by the
parents should come into the building for your child to be released from
Aftercare. Thank you for your cooperation!
SCIENCE FAIR
The school science fair is Friday, March 12th, after
school. Our science fair coordinator, Mrs. Martin, is available if
you have questions. If your student is participating, she will
assign a time for their project to be judged. Judging begins at
3:15.
MARKET DAY
This month's Market Day orders are due in to the
school office by Monday, March 8th. Internet orders are due by
Thursday, March 11th. Pick-up for March is Wednesday, the 17th.
Please remember to place your orders and help our school!
MATH OLYMPICS
Several of our students will be going to the Math
Olympics on Friday, March 5th. Mrs. Roberts has sent home
information to those students, so please be on time to leave and check
with Mrs. Roberts if you have additional questions.
Athletic Banquet
The winter sports banquet will be held on Saturday,
March 20th, at Hope Christian Fellowship. The banquet will begin
at 6:00pm and pizza, pop and cake will be provided.
MISSION TRIPS
This year our high school mission trips will be split
into two different weeks: Juniors and Seniors will be in Jersey
City from March 30 - April 2; and Sophomores will be in Columbus from
April 5-8. The mission trips had to be split this year due to
Spring Break for the locations we are going. More details on the
trip will be forthcoming.

Accelerated Reader List Available On-Line!!!
Students & parents are now able to
get a copy of our most recent Accelerated Reader Titles on-line.
This allows students to use books from home or the local library as
well as the ELCS library. These books can be read and tested
on from grades 1-8. Please remember to read books at (or near) your
grade level. Most teachers prefer that students go no more than one
level below their actual grade, however the sky is the limit when it comes
to reading above grade level. Most of all, enjoy reading - it is a
gift from God.
This list is available in PDF format, and can be opened by Acrobat Reader.
If you do not Acrobat Reader on your computer, you can download it by
following the link from our Registration Information web page. This
list & link is also available at the bottom of our homerooms web page.
